A single high-visibility button starts live tracking and pushes your Google Maps coordinates to trusted contacts by SMS and to your Telegram channels.
Broadcasts location links, stealth camera snapshots, audio recordings and suspect report files to Telegram bot channels you configure yourself.

Why not just any safety app
Most safety apps expose you the second someone looks at your screen or your app drawer. Saathi can present itself as a mundane utility. The safety dashboard does not exist as far as anyone else is concerned until your safe word is typed in.
When internet is available, configured Telegram channels can receive evidence. If it is unavailable, configured SMS alerts can still send a GPS link when cellular service is available.
Being followed on the way home, or a cab taking an unusual route, is not an ambulance problem — it is a decision problem. The AI advisor can return concrete physical steps in order of priority when it is configured and available.
Start to finish
Four onboarding screens: your name, your emergency contacts, your safe word, and optionally your Telegram bot credentials.
Location, camera, microphone and SMS, each with a status card showing what is still missing.
Nothing to do day to day. If a situation only feels off — an awkward date, a cab you don't like — tap Discrete Fake Call, set a 10-second timer, and take a call from "Mom".
Real danger: open the app, or type your safe word into the decoy screen, and hit the red button.

Your PIN or safe word closes the session. Captured records remain on the device for review.

Before you install
Not if you have a disguise mode on. The app presents as an ordinary everyday screen and its real dashboard only appears after your safe word is entered. Without the safe word there is nothing on screen to find.
SOS first checks that your signed-in account is enabled. After that check, configured carrier SMS alerts can work without mobile data. Telegram, cloud delivery, and the AI advisor need an internet connection.
Telegram bot channels let evidence — location links, snapshots, audio, suspect files — reach several people at once, on a channel you control, without you needing to run a server. You set up the bot credentials during onboarding.
Records are stored on your phone first. Sensitive settings use encrypted preferences. Optional cloud sync needs an enabled account and internet connection.
It offers short, practical safety guidance for the situation you describe. It needs an internet connection and a Gemini key configured in Settings.
During an active SOS, the app uses an Android foreground service. Grant the required permissions, including "Allow all the time" location where Android asks for it. Device settings can still limit background work.
